A New Nightmare Unfolds: PRM Games Announces The Run - A Full-Motion Horror-Thriller Experience Launching Halloween 2025

This Halloween season, terror takes on a new form. PRM Games, in collaboration with Benacus Entertainment and RNF Productions, is proud to unveil The Run, a nerve-shredding Full-Motion horror-thriller written and directed by acclaimed film and game maker Paul Raschid (The Complex, Five Dates, Ten Dates, The Gallery, Hello Stranger).

Set to launch on October 28th, 2025, The Run plunges players into a chilling interactive nightmare on iOS via the App Store and Android via the Google Play Store, before launching onto PC via Steam later in the year. Every choice and every decision will determine whether players survive the relentless hunt, making this Halloween an experience you won’t soon forget.

On a remote running trail amid the breathtaking landscapes of Lake Garda, Northern Italy, a famous fitness influencer’s morning run spirals into a fight for survival. Hunted by seemingly motiveless killers, players must make split-second decisions that will shape the story in real time. The fate of the protagonist rests in the player’s hands, where one wrong move could be fatal.

"I can’t wait for players to dive into The Run," says Paul Raschid. "Building on what I’ve done with The Gallery and Hello Stranger, Full-Motion games are showing just how entertaining and engaging interactive cinema can be. We’ve packed The Run with suspense, surprises, and choices that truly matter. It’s a horror experience where you’re not just watching, you’re part of the story. I’m excited for fans to take the plunge and see how intense things can get!"

Featuring a stellar cast led by Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones, Strike Back) and George Blagden (Vikings, Versailles), the game also boasts memorable cameos from horror master Dario Argento and Italian screen legend Franco Nero. The narrative contains over three and a half hours of filmed content, multiple branching storylines, twenty unique deaths and five endings.

The Run is already captivating audiences on the film festival circuit, thrilling viewers at Raindance London, Motelx Lisbon, Dinard, and Imagine Amsterdam. Building on this momentum, the game will receive a two-month theatrical residency at London’s Genesis Cinema, complemented by a London Underground poster campaign that sets the stage for its chilling arrival.

Key Features:

  • Choice-driven gameplay with five unique endings to fully uncover the story.

  • Timed & Paused Choices for solo immersion or audience participation during group play.

  • 20 unique, harrowing deaths if the wrong choices are made.

  • A sprawling Story Map, unlocking all possible outcomes as players progress.

  • Over 3½ hours of intense filmed content, blending cinematic storytelling with interactive gameplay.

  • 5 endings that are distinctly different conclusions depending on the player’s prior choices.
