3D virtual tabletop and storytelling toolkit Multiverse Designer comes to Steam Early Access on Nov 5th

The anticipated 3D virtual tabletop and storytelling toolkit Multiverse Designer will be published on Steam Early Access on November 5th. As announced by its creators, development studio Toopan Games, this powerful creative software for tabletop RPGs will come with a free Player Edition, which allows players to join online tabletop RPG games and create maps with a limited version of the Map Creator, and a GM Edition with prices starting at $39.99/€38.99, with a 10% release discount.

The Player Edition, which can be downloaded for free, allows players to join online games (but not to create them) and free use of the Map Creator and Cutscene Editor tools with full access to the library of 3D assets - but with an asset limit: while they will be able to create maps as big and detailed as they want, they can only save or share maps with 50 assets or less. It also provides access to the scripting language Criteria (which allows implementing rules for any tabletop RPG) and sharing creations thanks to its full Steam Workshop integration.

The basic GM Edition allows for creating online games for up to 4 guests - that is, users with the free Player Edition; owners of the GM Edition don’t count towards this limit. There’s also a GM Edition with 6 Seats (launching at $54.99/€53.50 with a 10% release discount) and a GM Unlimited Edition, allowing for an unlimited number of players (launching at $89.99/€87.99 with a 10% release discount). All GM Editions have the same unrestricted access to the library of 3D assets for the Map Creator and Cutscene Editor, as well as the scripting language Criteria, and sharing creations thanks to its full Steam Workshop integration. All GM Editions can be purchased within Multiverse Designer without leaving the app.
