Penance Never Ends as Blasphemous 2 is Revealed

Team17 Digital and The Game Kitchen have premiered the very first look of Blasphemous 2 during last night’s Indie World Showcase. Coming to Nintendo Switch^™, PC, PlayStation^®5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year, Blasphemous 2 follows The Penitent One as he awakens in an unfamiliar land, displaced from his final resting place, and thrust back into the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection.

Team17 and The Game Kitchen have today launched Wounds of Eventide, the third and final free update for action-platformer Blasphemous on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch^™, and PC. Unveiling the final chapter of The Penitent One’s first story, Wounds of Eventide offers new levels, bosses, items, and secrets to unearth, while unlocking another fate for Cvstodia that leads into the events of the Blasphemous sequel that was announced earlier this year for a 2023 launch.
