The jury has reached its decision: the nominees for the 2012 gamescom awards are in
This year for the first time, the 2012 gamescom award, the most coveted prize in the European games industry, will once again increase its range and significance following substantial expansion. A larger jury with 20 chief editors and personalities from leading national and international gaming media has nominated its favourites for this year’s gamescom awards from more than 100 entries.
Tim Endres, gamescom project manager: “You just have to look at the list of award nominees and the other surprises awaiting visitors to see that gamescom is continually building on its significance as a platform for innovations. The community can already look forward to a host of spectacular premieres playable for the first time at gamescom, well before they hit the shelves.”
