Launch Trailer Solasta: Crown of the Magister Available Now

French independent development studio and veteran pen and paper players, Tactical Adventures announced its tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister version 1.0 is available now on Steam, GOG, Gamesplanet and Humble Store for $31.99 (a -20% discount), and on the Microsoft Store as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC. Solasta: Crown of the Magister features fresh elements of verticality, team-based adventure, a dungeon maker, character customization and hours of authentic tabletop gameplay.

“As a lifelong tabletop player, I’ve dreamed about creating Solasta for as long as I can remember, to bring my passion for pen and paper games to videogame form,” said Mathieu Girard, founder, CEO and Creative Director of Tactical Adventures. “Tactical Adventures is a small and mighty team, who has met every development milestone timely and accurately. We are all very proud of the finished product and hope players enjoy it as much as we do.”

In addition to 1.0 launch, the Solasta: Crown of the Magister soundtrack is now available to purchase as a digital download. Produced and distributed by G4F Records, the soundtrack features 23 tracks, all composed by Maxime Hervé (“Beyond the Aquila Rift.” Love Death & Robots, Netflix 2019).

Wizards of the Coast has granted Tactical Adventures a license to use the Dungeon & Dragons SRD 5.1 content and rules in Solasta: Crown of the Magister.

Solasta is a team-based tactical role-playing game where each character plays a critical role in the campaign and can be a hero. The dynamic and mysterious world features elements of verticality, allowing players to use their surroundings as an element of strategy. Players can position ranged characters on high vantage points or send their rogue down into shafts and caverns to scope out what lies ahead. In Solasta, light is a tool to explore the depths and hallows of dungeons or can be used as a weapon against the creatures of the dark, but if players are not careful, it will give away the party’s position to nasty creatures bent on their demise.
