Free Röki playable demo available on Steam for 48 hours as part of inaugural The Game Festival

With anticipation high for the Polygon Treehouse-developed Röki, United Label Games is delighted to announce it will be part of digital consumer event The Game Festival, with a Röki demo available for 48 hours from 6pm GMT/10am PT on Steam’s dedicated page.

The Game Festival initiative is the brain child of The Game Awards founder, Geoff Keighley, which has been introduced to bring digital gaming to fans around the world during tonight’s awards ceremony. Along with Röki, the roster of games includes 13 titles which will be streamed for free across more than 60 global digital networks.

“The reception to the hands-on demo of Röki at gamescom, EGX London and Berlin, and IndieCade this year has shown there’s a great appetite for the game, and The Game Festival means that even more gamers will get the chance to play this enchanting game,” said Denis Ferrier, head of business development at United Label Games. “The festival puts Röki on the global stage and we’re excited to hear people’s feedback once they’ve had chance to immerse themselves in the captivating Scandinavian world.”
