flaregames kündigt Epic Loot an

Flaregames and Fuzzycube Announce Epic Loot, Their First Co-developed Mobile Game

German mobile publisher and developer flaregames signs upcoming mobile RPG from veteran dev team Fuzzycube

flaregames, a leading international developer and publisher of F2P mobile games, today announced that the company has entered a publishing agreement with development studio Fuzzycube. Fuzzycube is a team of game development veterans with an impressive track record. The core group ranks as far back as the legendary Ensemble Studios (Age of Empires). Team members helped create games as diverse as Words with Friends, Temple Run 2 and Halo Wars. The President of the studio is Jeff Ruediger, a 17-year games industry veteran, who worked at Origin, Ensemble and, most recently, Apple before founding Fuzzycube Software in 2009.

The first game to be published under this agreement is Epic Loot, a unique hero battle game for Android and iOS tablets and smartphones. Epic Loot casts players as the leader of a powerful team of heroes. Epic rewards await players that conquer mighty boss monsters and prevail in PvP against friends!

This new agreement is part of a larger initiative by flaregames to build an impressive publishing portfolio of high quality mobile games. Recently, the company signed a similar agreement with Subatomic Studios and Superweapon, two US developers with high profile mobile games in the making.

The German developer and publisher flaregames was founded in 2011 and has developed and published more than half a dozen games, among them the award-winning action strategy games of the Royal Revolt franchise. The company has collected €17 million in two funding rounds and operates two internal development studios, in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt, Germany.

"When we announced our publishing initiative we promised that we would only be working with the best of the best - and studio after studio we’re making good on that promise. Fuzzycube has a strong team of veteran developers who worked for Apple and created magnificent titles at Ensemble. We’re quite excited with the first project, Epic Loot, and are looking forward to a long, prosperous relationship“,
said Klaas Kersting, CEO and founder of flaregames.

Jeff Ruediger, CEO of Fuzzycube, added,

"We could not have found a better partner for Epic Loot. flaregames understands game development as well as games publishing. We are convinced that together we will reach the highest levels of success for Epic Loot. Their know-how and input have already helped to make it a better title."
