Discover Two New Spirits And Learn To Build Effective Combos In Upcoming Turn-based Board Game Spiritle

Fabled Game, the creators behind the popular roguelike card game Pirates Outlaws, has today released two more new character teasers for their upcoming four-player turn-based strategy digital board game, Spiritle. Learn more about Ollbhear, the Mighty Warrior, and Eilit, the Mage Healer, and how they use their abilities to dominate the board, in the new spotlight videos!

Play as one of eight Spirits drawing energy from the four elements: Nature, Earth, Water and Fire. Each Spirit has their own unique abilities, with different gameplay mechanics to win against opponents. The Mighty Warrior, Ollbhear uses aggressive attacks like ‘Grab’ and ‘Fury’ to tank their way through enemies, whilst using utility skills like ‘Fissure’ to open adjacent tiles and shape the board in their favor. If all else fails, unleash the giant bear’s power of the Earth element with ‘Earthquake’ and obliterate the opposition!

Not a fan of brute force? Sneakily lay traps around the board and frustrate the enemy spirits as Eilit, the Mage Healer. A sorcerer with a great knowledge of plants, she has the ability to control water and heal herself through her abilities. Mark your territory with a variety of different traps like ‘Mushroom Trap’ and ‘Spiky Trap’, then attack your opponents using ‘Vampiric Pain’, which restores health equal to the amount of damage dealt. Once you’ve gathered all your rivals in one place using the trick skills, deal massive AOE damage with ‘Maelstrom’ to finish them off and win the match!

Spiritle is a party game where players take on the role of an incarnated spirit and battle against friend and foe to reclaim their place in the World Tree. Featuring 4-player cross-platform play, Spiritle tasks players to choose one of 8 different spirits - all with unique capabilities and play styles - and gain control of the board. Spiritle features four Elements, represented by Nature, Earth, Water and Fire and 4 Seasons, each lasting 3 months and holding unique enchantments that impact players’ strategic choices, such as changing the environment, a character’s skill selection or even the entire game board.
